RealVibez Assembles International Advisory Team for Film Festival
PAULA MADISON and BRENT JOHNSON
Miami, FLORIDA – Paula Madison, Chairman and CEO of Madison Media Management LLC and 88 Madison Media Works Inc will join the Advisory Team for the inaugural RealVibez Film Festival. The term will run up to July 2022.
Madison, named as one of the “75 Most Powerful African Americans in Corporate America” by Black Enterprise in 2005 and was also included in the Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100 is a retired Executive Vice President for Diversity at the NBCUniversal Group, where she was also a Vice President of the General Electric Company.
Festival Director and CEO, RealVibez Entertainment LLC, Carole Beckford, says “Paula is an extremely valuable asset to the business of film globally. Her role will consolidate the efforts of creatives in the Caribbean moving towards more lucrative businesses. We are happy to have Paula join the team as our Advisor.”
Paula is an author and executive producer of FINDING SAMUEL LOWE, a book and documentary which tells of her successful search to locate her Chinese grandfather’s descendants in China.
This media owner is a dual citizen of Jamaica and the USA. She serves on a number of boards, to include the Black Filmmaker Foundation, The Chinese American Museum of Los Angeles, the Center for Asian American Media and Williams Group Holdings LLC, the majority owner of the Africa Channel.
She and her husband Roosevelt live in Los Angeles.
BRENT JOHNSON
Brent Johnson, Managing Partner and CEO of the ONE Entertainment Group will also join the advisory board, Brent has been a key figure in shaping the marketing, promotion, financing and production of worldwide entertainment events and brand activations for over twenty-five years.
Brent has been instrumental connecting premier celebrity brands in sports, film, and consumer goods to audiences across the globe. Johnson’s unrivaled insight into consumer interests, his expertise all facets of event management and execution, and his ability to align key players with maximum impact has propelled him tocreate multinational campaigns, tours and transactions for Floyd Mayweather and The Money Team, Universal Music Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, A&M Records, Vitamin Water, Endemol, Dreamville, Bad Boy Records and many others.
In declaring she was happy to have Brent Johnson on the Advisory Team, Beckford says “Brent’s body of work speaks volumes and the diversity in the mix is critical to what we want to do at RealVibez. The opportunities are endless here and the team is lucky to have him offer to serve.”
Some of his recent and notable accomplishments include the very first and only Floyd Mayweather International Boxing Exhibition in Japan against Tenshin Nasukawa that caused a host of domestic exhibition matches to include the Legends Only League’s Tyson vs. Jones and Showtime’s Mayweather vs. Paul exhibitions and the purchase of Society Hill Spirits with an African American only investment group to re-launch its signature spirit Rapsody Vodka.Johnson is an honors thesis graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law and he lives with his wife Michelle in Dallas, TX.
