Stewart is an internationally recognized entertainment executive, speaker, and journalist with extensive experience that focuses on developing and producing film, television, and digital content that provides social and financial value. With over 33 years of service to ESPN and The Walt Disney Company, he is one of the early pioneers in the development of ESPN and SportsCenter. His broad management experience includes serving as the most senior executive for ESPN in Asia-Pacific (including Japan, India, Oceania, China), the Caribbean, and Maritime Enterprises.
His content and acquisition experiences include high-profile rights negotiations for premier world events, including The FIFA World Cup, The Olympics, The Pan American Games, The UEFA Champions League, and T20 Cricket. He was on the program executive team that developed the ESPY’s. As an Emmy nominated producer, Stewart has created or developed over 20 original series and multi-platform program concepts for network and syndication distribution.
